Storm Brightly Brewing
Original painting, oil on board mounted on varnished wood 'box' (approx. 5" depth.) Shows 1933 Ford V-8 DeLuxe roadster in the foreground.

Artist Notes:
"I've always loved that time just before a brewing summer storm in late afternoon, when the sun is hitting objects like a spotlight in a dark theater and electricity is in the air. I wanted to further highlight the incongruent brightness with two orange, fantastic vehicles like the Roadster and the Cadillac. Who, indeed, has come to visit in that strangely colored apartment block (actual color of a real place.) The crows are hurrying home before it all erupts."
