1930s Mercedes-Benz 500K. Only 33 cabriolet 'A' were built and only 11 survive. The famous design, known to many as the best looking of all cabriolets, was achieved using these elements: 1. radiator behind the front axle 2. spare tires mounted at the rear 3. low windshield and 4. narrow profile front fenders.

Artist Notes:
"The concept of this painting was to place the sparkling Mercedes in bright sunlight, but in a setting of a pending storm, as if a slice of sky opened just to light the car. The innuendo is that rain wouldn’t dare to fall until this classic was safely under cover… the fury of nature bows to such beauty and waits."
