Rush Hour (Sunoco, 1958)
Gas station in Des Plaines near Chicago, where the artist worked as a teenager.  1955 Ford Crown Victoria; 1957 fuel-injected Corvette.

Artist Notes:
"This station was a new design called S.E.D. style. Sunoco met the demand for higher octane with a unique pump that dispensed 8 different blends at 8 different prices!  The attendant set the blender at the desired number and the customer could match the fuel to their engine."
