Artist Notes:
"Based on one of the old, original neon signs of New York, I thought this shiny Merc went well with the old bar scene, very reminiscent of the 40s film noir days of detectives and seedy night life.

Nowadays, these are the bars and backstreet haunts that the braver traveler likes to discover, and I'm sure the real Rudy's is one of those - retaining the flavor of old time New York. As I have a thing for the electrical wires that hold us all together in this society, the car reflects the web of wiring above and other warehouse lane buildings. I'm sure at one time Rudy's had a Merc like that parked right in front and I would loved to have seen who got out of it (but only as long as I had 'back-up'!)"
