Artist Notes:
"Hood ornaments are truly works of art. I had this 1952 Oldsmobile Rocket in my collection so I decided it was going in a pinup. When I finished the painting I wanted to call it “There’s a Rocket for every Pocket” which was Oldsmobile’s ad slogan in the fifties. But seeing as how there are no pockets in the picture I’ll save that title for another painting, maybe one of Mae West."
