"Brescia was the start and finish point of the classic Mille Miglia. Here is the city at the end of the race, as competitors return in the early hours. A Mercedes completes its journey on misty roads crowded with cheering spectators. A combination of light, reflections and dynamic brush strokes convey a sense of excitement and speed. Some important buildings of Brescia are shown, such as 'la Loggia,' left of center."
