Artist Notes:
"In 1999, I was commissioned by Audi to paint three large historical murals featuring the great Auto Union 'Silver Arrows' of the 1930s. This particular one represents the 1937 Coppa Acerbo race at Pescara, Italy. A Mercedes W125 is also shown.
Audi was the featured marque at Pebble Beach and Laguna Seca that year. The murals were exhibited with many of the original cars and a couple of reproductions. It was an amazing experience to see these powerful machines race around the track!"
