This marquetry is composed of 420 separate inlays of various shapes and sizes, cut from 18 different precious woods, and varnished with a high gloss finish.
Artist Notes:
"The 997 was the ultimate racing version of the 911. This driver is using it to attack the fearsome 13-mile Nurburgring, nicknamed 'The Green Hell' by Jackie Stewart. The background is korina for the sky and European ash for the grass. The track is made of fossil oak."
