Walking the Dog
1928 Austin Seven 'Chummy.' This diminutive car was built in England during the 1920s and 30s.
Artist Notes:
"The ‘Jazz Age’ witnessed the emergence of a new breed of independent young women: ’The Flappers.' These fun-loving ladies could, at last, afford to buy their own cars. Here we see a carefree twenty-year old racing her Austin Chummy along a beach as the sun breaks through the storm clouds and her best friend runs alongside."
