'Trust your car to the man who wears the star.' "A team of uniformed attendants came out to greet you and service your car. This is the classic Texaco station designed by Walter Dorwin Teague in 1937. The clean modern design with its beautifully proportioned canopy became one of the most recognized buildings in America."
